Who are we?

The International Order of the Rainbow for Girls is a non-profit Organization for girls ages between the ages of 10-20. By doing service projects, having leadership opportunities, and experiences in public speaking and organization, members can build lifelong skills, lasting friendships, and a strong sense of purpose for their future!

Who can be a member?

Membership is open to girls and young women ages 10–20 who are ready to discover their strengths, serve their communities, and grow into confident, capable leaders.

Do I have a family member who is a Mason to join?

A family connection to the Masons, or any Masonic Family is welcomed but never required. IORG is open to young women from all educational backgrounds.

What is the Masonic Family?

The International Order of the Rainbow for Girls is part of the Masonic Family. While Rainbow Girls are not Freemasons, the organization is sponsored and supported by Masonic bodies such as the Order of the Eastern Star, Order of the Amaranth, or the Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem.

How do I become a member?

We have a beautiful ceremony where new members learn more about our history and the lessons, we feel are important for life. Parents, Grandparents & guardians are welcome to attend with you.

Will Rainbow interfere with other activities I’m involved in?

Rainbow encourages girls to become well-rounded by participating in a variety of activities within their community or school. The effort members put into Rainbow is reflected in the skills, confidence, and leadership they carry into other organizations.

Who are the Adults that supervise the members?

Our Advisors are background checked and include members of our Sponsoring Organizations, Majority Members, and Parents.
